Impression: Mini-Monograph Brief

Over the Christmas break we were given another brief for the Impression studio. The aim has been to research, design and create a mini-monograph on an important designer, who was chosen for us.

It has to take the form of a printed exhibition guide for an imaginary design exhibition. I was given art director and designer Ruth Ansel to look at and write about in the booklet. This is primarily a research task and the findings will be published in a mini-monograph.

monograph (noun) 1. a detailed written study of a single specialized subject or an aspect of it.

With what we have learnt about identity design, layout, Indesign and typography and the experience of designing and printing in Publishing Unbound this task should solidate our learning.
