Impression: Second Edition Zine

The end of the Christmas meant the wrapping up of my zine production, well for the second but final time!

For this version of my zine I chose to use a different colour to print the design on. For the first printing I used a blue paper but this time I wanted to use a yellow paper so that the black ink would really pop on the page. Also yellow would look interesting with the layout of headings as they are mostly all on an angle which could give the impression of police tape and so pairs well with the topic of the zine being ‘design & crime’. Previously I hadn’t used yellow as I was worried that a lot of the class would actually choose the same colour.

As seen in the image below, I inverted the poster for this edition as I felt that the first edition of the zine had too much white space (or blue space!) so this brought something a little different to the table.
