Last week was Celebration Week so we didn’t have the chance to put together our second session of It’s F•cking Drawing, but with the studios free this week we could. Unfortunately the free studios were down to not many people being in due to independent study so we had another small group.

The first video I have created using the animation app has become my first draft because truthly I didn’t think through the storyboard properly..
With coming away from the idea of paper puppets and Mary Blair I needed to find a way to animate in quite a basic form. Afterall I didn’t think I’d make a Disney ready animation during the project but with the right application I was confident I could produce a video I was happy with.

This week we’re focusing on the cover for our collection/portfolio book and primarily if we are going to use illustration. Considering I’m studying illustration this question really has me stumped because my body of work in my book will mostly be design and more graphic than illustrative.
Celebration Week means we get to chill out a bit and take a look at what the studios and first years have been up to.
Arguably, the most important part of the Collection project is the content of our portfolio books. This means that before I start designing the book and layouts I need to sort out what I want to include.
Changing ideas and designers means I have further research to carry out.
The day before our pitch, myself, Ee, Hannah and Maria got together to finish off the printing of the anthology and bound the mock up ready for the presentation.
