Life Drawing

Today the university put on a life drawing session and it was a mix of Level 4s to 6s, so was really interesting to see everyone’s approach to drawing.

We spent the day drawing poses ranging from 2 minutes to 30 minutes. To begin with I was struggling to fit them in, in such short time, but once I started drawing ‘boxes’ for the skeleton I was able to more accurately draw  the human form. During the last poses that were 30 minutes I was able to get the model, David’s form as well as pick out the scene and also draw other students while they draw. I think the whole day was extremely beneficial as it was a chance to spend a whole day developing my drawing and helped me think about anatomy.
