Today was our Market Ready pitch and while I was originally worried as it was the whole of our group and the judges watching I soon chilled out a little as the presentations went on.
Our feedback last Thursday left us with a lot of things to improve on, most of which we already knew needing completing so not giving up we went to the library as a group to help each other finish our designs and think about what Gum Up is.
Working in groups is difficult! When you’re on your own, your vision is the way to go, it’s going to be the outcome. Working in a group however is everyone putting loads of ideas forward or not in some cases (not my group I love you guys). So putting a PowerPoint together is even harder!
You know when you’re suddenly hit with just how long (or not) you have left on a project.. Well today was that day..
Our group was looking at riso-printed products and stickers so it was down to me to get these prices in order to work out if our items were possible to make on a budget.
We had Nik Hill visit the studio today as our first guest speaker of the year and ex-Cass student. The studio was also set another exciting brief and our first real collaborative project.
